GS Leader Ms. Stacie shared with me a beautiful photo from her Girl Scout Troop 484 on how they have been spreading the No Straw November message. Not only is Troop 484 been participating in No Straw November by refusing single-use plastic straws, they also decided to take things up a notch by making the absolute best single-use plastic straw bulletin board message to share with their classmates at their school. This awareness is exactly what I had hoped for with the No Straw November movement. AWARENESS and youth spreading the message.
November has 1 more day, but with awareness being spread by GS Troop 484, I know that it will continue long after November is gone. Thank you Troop 484 for unleashing the power of G.I.R.L.!
